Channel 5 News Story About SMARTCore® and NFL player Logan Ryan

January 8, 2019

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Titans players like Logan Ryan have turned their focus to healing their bodies for the postseason.

In the game against the Giants, Ryan broke his Fibula which ended his season. Ryan said, “In football, they say that the injury rate is 100%.”

To prevent long recoveries, Ryan trains with Kaylee Cahoon at Smart Core Method.

“I think my preventative work that I’ve done with Kaylee three times a week even when I’m feeling healthy, allows me when I have a broken leg, to not be something that could be way worse.” Ryan said.

Cahoon specializes in healing through manual therapy like myofascial spot work. She said, “The public knows a lot about dysfunction and pain, and they don’t know a lot about what good function is supposed to be.”

Her clients range from children, to people with multiple sclerosis, and even professional athletes.
